There are 3 sizes in the Wabi-Kusa lineup that are easy for anyone to grow. I would like to introduce the smallest Wabi-Kusa 5Ø among those 3. All the Wabi-Kusa 5Ø consist of just single plant, and they are an easy to use lineup for foreground and mid-ground.
Green Carpet with runners of Wabi-Kusa Glossostigma
If you are a fan of aquatic plants, you might have dreamed of an aquascape covered with carpet plants such as Glossostigma at least once. But you also might have been worried how to connect from foreground to mid-ground for planting. In that case, by using Wabi-Kusa 5Ø, beautiful aquascapes can be easily executed. Let me introduce 3 types with different characteristics from the Wabi-Kusa 5Ø lineup here.

Ranunculus inundatus

Ranunculus inundates which develops leaves with unique unusual shape. Because these leaves can grow both above water and underwater in the same way, distinctive expressions can be added to layouts in both Terrarium and Paludarium.

Glossostigma elatinoides

It is the epitome of carpet plants. And it has become well-known since being used in aquascapes. It is hardy, easy to grow and recommended to beginners. It grows fast, actively develops runners and spreads all over the substrate.

Hemianthus micranthemoides

Hemianthus micranthemoides develops small light green colored bushes. By trimming them appropriately, bushes with thick volume can be formed. It is a versatile stemmed plant that can be used from mid-ground to background according to sizes of aquarium tanks.

Because the base of all Wabi-Kusa 5Ø is flat, when placing them in foreground, just by putting its base slightly in the soil, the base becomes unnoticeable. And because of the moderate size with a diameter of 5cm, it can be placed anywhere in the mid-ground. It has advantages of being easy for creating layouts suitable to your imaginations. Please enjoy Wabi-Kusa 5Ø that are useful for both small and large aquarium tanks in layouts.
