Branch Wood
Branch Wood
As Branch wood has many small branches, it looks nice just by placing it in a layout. But it is cut artificially at the end of branches and roots, so you can keep the natural impression by attaching Willow moss to cover the unnatural sections.
*A stone or something to hold the Branch wood will be needed for initial stage as it may float due to buoyancy.
*Saprolegnia may appear during the initial stage. If it occurs, suction them out with a small tube frequently.

Horn Wood

Slim Wood
Slim Wood
The driftwood with thin branches will inspire your layout sense. Straight branches tend to create a harsh impression in a layout. Therefore, if you attach Taxiphyllum barbieri or Microsorum in places while taking advantage of the branch line, the sense of nature will increase.
*In the beginning, because there may be some buoyancy left, you will need to weigh it down.
*There is almost no effect on both pH and total hardness.
