Discover Japan’s Untouched Landscapes Through the Philosophy of the Nature Aquarium

Over the past 30+ years, Aqua Design Amano Co., Ltd. has led the global aquascaping movement through international aquatic plant layout contests, worldwide workshops and lectures, and photographic expeditions to many parts of the world, including Amazon, West Africa, Borneo, and UNESCO World Heritage sites in Japan. Through these efforts, we have documented and shared the beauty of nature with audiences around the world. Now, building on this legacy, we are proud to launch a new travel division under the brand name ADA CELESTA. This initiative will offer exclusive tours and events that explore Japan’s rich natural landscapes and pristine scenery—designed to deepen understanding of the Nature Aquarium philosophy of “learning from nature.” By partnering with local communities and visiting each destination directly, we aim to create immersive experiences that connect participants with the spirit of the land.
As the kickoff event for ADA CELESTA, we are excited to present a premium 7‐day tour scheduled for late May to early June 2026, taking participants through Tokyo, Sado Island, and Niigata. Guided by aquascape creator Yusuke Homma, this small‐group journey (limited to around 10 participants) includes visits to Sumida Aquarium, the primeval cedar forests of Sado, the Sotokaifu coastline, and Mount Donden. The tour concludes with a special workshop at the ADA Nature Aquarium Gallery and a rare opportunity to enjoy lunch while viewing the legendary 4‐meter Nature Aquarium at the Takashi Amano residence. Due to limited availability, we encourage early inquiries and reservations.
