Discover Japan’s Scenic Landscapes Through the Philosophy of the Nature Aquarium

For more than 30 years, Aqua Design Amano Co., Ltd. has documented and shared the beauty of nature with the world through activities such as hosting the International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest, conducting workshops and lectures across the globe, and photographing UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage sites in Japan and abroad.

Building on these decades of experience, we have launched a new travel division under the brand name CELESTA. This initiative offers special tours and events designed to explore Japan’s rich scenic landscapes and untouched nature, providing opportunities to experience the Nature Aquarium philosophy of “learning from nature.” By collaborating with local partners and visiting each destination directly, we aim to create immersive journeys that allow participants to connect deeply with the spirit of the land. CELESTA tours are primarily designed for guests from outside Japan. We invite you to enjoy the international exchange that comes from traveling together with participants from around the world!

As the kickoff event for CELESTA, we have organized a premium week-long tour from late May to early June 2026, taking participants through Tokyo, Sado Island, and Niigata. Guided by aquascape creator Yusuke Homma, this small-group journey (limited to around 10 participants) includes visits to Sumida Aquarium in Tokyo, the primeval cedar forests of Sado, the Sotokaifu coastline, and Mount Donden.

The tour concludes with an immersive program at the ADA Nature Aquarium Gallery in Niigata and a rare opportunity to enjoy lunch while viewing the iconic 4-meter Nature Aquarium at the residence of Takashi Amano. Due to limited capacity, we encourage early inquiries and reservations. Registration will close once all spots are filled.
