Comparative experiment of Aqua Clean AC
In this comparative experiment, Aqua Soil-Amazonia was placed in a 30cm aquarium, and Wabi-Kusa Stemmed Plants MIX and Glossostigma were arranged.
We compared the color and quality of water with and without Aqua Clean AC. (※ 1/3 change of water once a week, Aqua Clean AC is replaced in 2 weeks.)
Amazonia contains a large amount of organic matters and nitrogen, and yellowing and turbidity of water are likely to occur at the beginning of the aquarium set. Although this is improved by the growth of aquatic plants and water change, the color still remains at the Day 25.
The yellowing and turbidity of the water by Amazonia have been removed and the state of high transparency continues. Since phosphoric acid and nitric acid are adsorbed, algae are less likely to appear after two weeks. As a result, aquatic plants are growing well.
Aqua Clean AC to improve water coloring and water condition
Aqua Clean AC is an adsorptive filteration media that combines high-performance activated carbon and activated alumina. By simply putting the Aqua Clean AC pack into the filtration tank, you can effectively remove water coloring, organic stains, phosphoric acid (PO4) and nitric acid (NO3). As a result, yellowing and turbidity of water that easily occurs in aquariums with Amazonia soil can be improved, and the appearance of algae can be suppressed. Although the transparency of the water and the growth of aquatic plants are greatly different depending on the presence or absence of Aqua Clean AC from the photograph of the comparative experiment published above, the effect is also understood from the measurement results of the water condition published on the right page. COD, which indicates the amount of organic matter in water, is significantly lower with Aqua Clean AC. In this comparative experiment, Aqua Clean AC is set in Super Jet Filter ES-150. Aqua Clean AC is packed and easy to set and change.
