We are pleased to announce the launch of JUNGLE BOTTOM, a substrate material designed specifically for the bottom layer of paludarium tanks—especially the lowest area where water tends to stagnate.
This product does not contain any nutrients, so we recommend using it together with JUNGLE SOIL and JUNGLE BASE, placing it as the bottommost of a three-layer substrate structure.
It works to enhance both aeration and water circulation at the base of the substrate. Made from lightweight, porous natural materials, JUNGLE BOTTOM comes in a variety of natural-looking colors,
including whitish, reddish, and deep black tones. When layered with JUNGLE BASE and JUNGLE SOIL, it creates a beautifully natural, stratified cross-section. It can also be used as a base filler to elevate the substrate height when you make a thicker soil layer. Suitable for use in small paludariums, such as Glass Pot series and large-scale paludariums.
