2025 marks ten years since the passing of Takashi Amano, a pioneering photographer known for capturing breathtaking natural landscapes on ultra-large-format film, and a globally celebrated aquascape creator. In tribute to his legacy, we are proud to present the TAKASHI AMANO L PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION, taking place from Wednesday, June 25 to Tuesday, July 15 at the 10th Floor Art Galleries 1 & 2 of Daimaru Tokyo, next to ADA LAB TOKYO.

Amano regarded large-format photography as a “record of nature” and aquascaping as a “recreation of the environment.” Through both, he sought to preserve and communicate the vanishing beauty of the natural world for future generations—a rare, globally recognized creator with a powerful vision. The exhibition will feature over 20 of Amano’s most iconic works, showcasing his unique artistic vision. We invite you to immerse yourself in the depth and clarity of his photographic expressions.

In conjunction with the exhibition, we are planning a pre-release of the photo book “TAKASHI AMANO L PHOTOGRAPHY”, a definitive collection representing the best of Takashi Amano’s work.
