ADA EVENT REPORT – Mauritius 2025

On November 29th and 30th, 2025, ADA held its first-ever event in Mauritius over the course of two days. Mauritius is a volcanic island nation located east of Madagascar, celebrated for its rich cultural diversity and abundant natural beauty.
On the first day, ADA SUIKEI Creator Daichi Araki presented a live aquascaping demonstration, creating a W900mm Nature Aquarium. Drawing inspiration from the island’s distinctive geology—where vibrant lava stones unique to volcanic regions can be found—a one-of-a-kind aquascape was completed using locally sourced Mauritian lava stone in combination with KUMU Red Lava Stone.
On the second day, a paludarium was created using the Neo Glass Paluda 300, resulting in an exotic layout that highlighted the dynamic forms and textures of Unzan Stone. The event also featured an introduction to the origins and philosophy of ADA, interactive workshops, and an awards ceremony for an IAPLC authorized contest, making it a comprehensive and highly engaging experience.
Sharing ADA’s philosophy of nature and aquascaping expertise directly with hobbyists in Mauritius—an island nation far from Japan—proved to be an invaluable and meaningful exchange. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined us.
