On October 4, 2025, a special aquascaping event was held at ADA Hungarian distributor, Green Aqua, located in the heart of Budapest. Using a W1200 aquarium, the event attracted aquarists from over 10 countries—including India, the UK, and the Netherlands—many of whom are familiar with Green Aqua through its popular YouTube presence.

This marked the second ADA SUIKEI creator event at Green Aqua, following Daichi Araki’s visit in 2020. This time, the aquascape was inspired by the natural scenery of Hungary and built using a large W1200 tank.

The day before the event, the ADA team visited a mountain stream about an hour outside Budapest. Unfortunately, the stream had dried up—another sign of the growing impact of climate change, not just in Japan but across Europe. Still, this unexpected condition offered a unique opportunity to view the landscape from a fresh perspective—revealing aspects of nature that are usually hidden beneath water.

True to ADA’s motto, “Learn from Nature,” the event included a talk using photographs and slides to highlight the importance of environmental conservation, the Nature Aquarium concept of creating ecosystems in tanks, and ADA’s “Green Manners” initiative, which emphasizes protecting native aquatic plants in their natural habitats.

The aquascape, created by ADA SUIKEI creator, Yusuke Homma, featured a dynamic layout of driftwood and stones, inspired by the dried streambed from the field trip. More than 20 species of aquatic plants were carefully arranged throughout the layout—realizing the theme, “Bold structure, delicate planting,” in a true Nature Aquarium style.

In the latter half of the event, attendees were able to ask questions about ADA products and were also introduced to new items set to release this winter. The event concluded with a long line of fans seeking Homma’s autograph. He took time with each visitor, expressing his gratitude and bringing the event to a heartfelt close.
