As part of The World of Nature Aquarium initiative, ADA held its first official event in Canada—the Canadian Aquascape Design Show—on September 13–14, 2025. The event featured a two-day ADA SUIKEI Creator Seminar, hosted by ADA Canada.

Day 1: Live Aquascaping Demonstration
The first day featured a live aquascaping demonstration by Daichi Araki, using a W1,200mm Cube Garden. Through a combination of practical setup and detailed slide commentary, participants were guided through ADA’s aquascaping philosophy and techniques. Many attendees were experiencing such an event for the first time, and their active engagement and thoughtful questions made for a highly interactive and inspiring seminar.

Day 2: Mini Paludarium Workshop
On the second day, attendees took part in a hands-on mini paludarium workshop using DOOA Glass Pot SHIZUKU. Most participants were new to paludarium creation, making it a fresh and exciting introduction to indoor greenery design. During the workshop, ADA’s material “KUMU” was used, and each participant created a piece full of individual character and expression.

Aquascape Contest and Awards
For the second consecutive year, the event included a live aquascape contest, which saw a significant increase in quality and creativity compared to the previous year. Judging and feedback were provided by Daichi Araki and American aquascaper Steven Chong, followed by an award ceremony that celebrated both effort and artistry. The passion of the participants was evident in every moment.

This event marked a major milestone as ADA Japan’s first official event in Canada. The energy and enthusiasm from both ADA Canada and all attendees showcased the strong support for ADA and the promising growth of the aquascaping community in Canada.
