Paludarium layouts featuring jungle plants often give off a dark, shadowy impression. In this layout, plants were intentionally selected for their subdued colors and patterns. Additionally, a dimming sheet was used to intentionally reduce the light intensity, which helps maintain the unique beauty of these plants. Many seemingly simple jungle plants possess hidden qualities that only become apparent under lower light, such as subtle shades of fluorescent green or pink, silver-toned or blue-reflecting leaves, and shimmering silver highlights. There is much enjoyment to be had just by taking a closer look. And when they bloom, the flowers can provide a soothing moment, like the gentle glow of a lantern.
