NATURE AQUARIUM GALLERY #04: Wind in the Light
At the Nature Aquarium Gallery, aquascapes are created and maintained every day. Through this ongoing work, ADA has developed a deep and practical knowledge of Nature Aquarium. In the web series NATURE AQUARIUM GALLERY, we interview ADA SUIKEI Creators and ADA’s expert maintenance staff to explore their creations and share tips on how to care for and grow aquatic environments using ADA products.
A Spring Breeze Over a Vibrant Meadow of Aquatic Plants

[Wind in the Light]
This aquascape was designed to evoke the image of a spring breeze flowing across a lively field of aquatic plants. To highlight the delicate beauty and transparency of the plants, the layout was intentionally kept minimal, using just one large piece of driftwood and three stones. The way the clusters of aquatic plants sway underwater resembles the gentle movement of spring wind over open fields.

Maintenance & Growth Tips

Revitalizing Plants with Green Gain Plus After Trimming
Green Gain Plus is a liquid supplement that helps rejuvenate aquatic plants after trimming—a time when they are prone to stress. It encourages the development of new shoots and promotes fresh, healthy leaf growth. In this layout, a variety of plants with differing growth rates were used, which meant some required frequent trimming. Green Gain Plus proved essential for maintaining clean, attractive trimming lines throughout.

Bringing Out Vivid Color with ECA Plus and Green Brighty Nitrogen
To enhance the red hues of aquatic plants, ECA Plus is highly effective. For even more vivid coloration, it can be combined with Green Brighty Nitrogen. This combination is especially useful in tanks maintained over long periods, or in environments with few fish, where nitrogen levels tend to run low. Ensuring a balanced nutrient supply through liquid fertilizers is essential for growing lush, vibrant stem plants.

If any essential nutrient is missing—even just one—it can lead to algae growth or hinder healthy plant development. Adjusting the dosage according to the needs of specific plant types is key to maintaining a beautiful, long-lasting aquascape.
