Iwagumi challenge was performed by the seminar participants. There were many unique Iwagumi, but here we introduce the winning works. The participants were divided into 2 groups (group A, B). The winners were decided by tallying the total points voted by the audience and Amano (for example, each participant of Group B voted their best Iwagumi work of Group A. Each vote was counted as 1 point, and Amano judged each work by 6-point scale of 5 to 10).
Winning Works
Group A : Zhan Shi Xian
I plan to plant Eleochalis vivipara and Rotala rotundifolia. Around the main stone, I would plant Blyxa novoguineensis. For the foreground, Fantinalis sp., Hemianthus callitrichoides, and Glossostigma elatinoides would fit.
Group B : Paweł Iglewski
I would use short and small water plants to emphasize the size of the main stones. Back side of the stone would be Eleochalis aciculalris and Hemianthus callitrichoides for the front. With this foreground, even small stones can exist in the aquascape.
Special Prize : Natallia Ramanovich
