Message from Takashi Amano

Dear Nature Aquarium fans and hobbyists

Since the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake hit northeast part of Japan on 3/11, I have received many condolences. We have been operating normal operation, and the qualities of all of our products including soils remain assured, no effect of radiation. Rather, now it is the time we should stand up and give the healing power of Nature Aquarium to the people who have been hurt and depressed! Nature Aquarium is not only beautiful and enjoyable, but also brings numerous benefits such as healing, education, motivation, communication, etc. The gift of nature is concentrated in this glass-made world, and its potencies are receiving continuous interests from all around the world. The International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest will take place as usual, and Nature Aquarium party will also come up later this year. And we are working on numbers of plans to give people a chance to appreciate Nature Aquarium including a big urban-style aquarium gallery, which is expected to open in spring, 2012 in a multi-function complex in Tokyo. Please look forward to our latest activities!
