Enjoy DOOA ‘Summer lagoon image spreading from a small aquarium-Simple Japanese style aquascape’

Editors of Aqua JournalEditors of Aqua Journal
This aquascape was also created for the “Kata No Kioku Exhibition,” which uses the aquatic plants and fish from Japan to image the nature of Yoroigata lagoon. System Aqua 30 has a limited space for layout, so it is easy to maintain, and Aqua Soil and cosmetic sand are separated using a single driftwood as a partition, and it was composed simply by only 5 species of aquatic plants. In addition, the arrangement of driftwood and aquatic plants are carefully decided so that the water outflow part of the built-in filter and the shadow of the filter medium is not noticeable. In accordance with the image of the exhibition place this time, I tried to arrange Schoenoplectus that stretches the leaves long on the water in Japanese Ikebana-style, taking advantage of its vertical line as it was set up on the System Stand 35. The aquatic plants and fish shadows that can be seen from the surface of the shimmering water remind us of the summer lagoon aquascape.
