Clean water is essential for keeping aquatic organisms such as fish and aquatic plants. Although tap water is clean, filtered water sanitized with chlorine, the impurities in the tap water, such as residual chlorine and metal ions, are problematic for keeping aquatic organisms in it. We recommend replacing NA Water and RO Kit cartridges periodically to remove these impurities. These products are replacement cartridges for NA Water and RO Kit. Filter cartridges need to be replaced periodically for the optimum performance of the water purification system. We recommend the use of appropriate filters for replacement.

* The following replacement intervals are only guidelines. The life of a filter varies largely depending on the quality of tap water. We recommend testing water quality periodically and replacing filters as needed.

This product is also great for increasing a flow rate for water changes. This product does not alter pH of the water.

* This product offers superior residual chlorine removal capability through the use of compressed higher density activated carbon fibers. This product is also great for increasing the flow rate for water changes. It is suitable for an area with a higher residual chlorine concentration or for water changes during winter time. This product does not alter pH of the water.

Replacement interval: Approximately 5 years; Total water treatment volume: 300,000 liters
* This is a high performance activated carbon filter suitable for high volume water treatment. It is great for increasing the flow rate for water changes and provides stable water quality for a long period of time. The treated water has a high pH immediately after treatment. The product water can be used directly for partial water changes for normal aquariums. For an aquarium with an organism that is sensitive to a pH variation, the water should be stored in a container first so that the pH of the water can be adjusted before adding it to the aquarium.
